YSL La Nuit De L’Homme Le Parfum - Review

I first encountered this fragrance at the gym with a close friend. The scent immediately caught my attention - it’s undeniably unique and unlike anything I’ve smelled before. After a google search it came apparent to me that there were no genuine reviews of this fragrance that weren’t affiliated in some sort of way; having purchased YSL La Nuit De L’Homme Le Parfum and used it for an extended period, I am now able to offer an accurate and genuine review of the fragrance.

In my reviews I like to take an initial holistic approach to the product, and then I dial into specifics that stand out to me as a consumer and/or specifics that I feel are important to highlight.

YSL La Nuit De L’Homme Le Parfum - Basics

As briefly mentioned at the beginning of this article I bought the YSL La Nuit De L’Homme Le Parfum (100ml) for £63.20 from lookfantastic.com after the scent caught my attention when working out with a close friend. This scent has definitely become a staple of mine and it is fit for all occasions whether it be a casual house party with friends or a more professional environment at work.

After 6 months of use I am already on my second bottle and I can’t see myself wanting to switch it up any time soon.

The Scent

The scent truly is unique, I personally haven’t smelt anything quite like it before. YSL La Nuit De L’Homme Le Parfum belongs to the woody ambery family and harnesses accents of black pepper, labdanum, and vetiver.

Without sounding cliché, the best way to describe this scent is mysterious. If there were ever a dark horse fragrance, it would be YSL La Nuit De L’Homme Le Parfum. There’s just something about it that no other fragrance seems to have.

The Bottle

The YSL La Nuit De L’Homme Le Parfum bottle is decent, but I feel they could have done more with it - perhaps made it more premium and sleek. If there’s one drawback, I’d say it’s the bottle’s appearance.

Price

Although cheaper than big names such as millions or dior savage, its still not the cheapest cologne on the market, but you get what you pay for. To put the long lasting smell into perspective, I once sprayed a gymshark jumper of mine that at the time I then decided not to wear. To my surprise three days later I wore the jumper and the scent was immediately noticable.

The £63.20 price tag might seem steep initially, but considering how little you need to apply for a long-lasting scent, the price is quite reasonable.

Conclusion

The YSL La Nuit De L’Homme Le Parfum really is something out of the ordinary. If you’re looking to have a more unique scent and one that doesn’t break the bank this cologne is definitely worth a try. Its my personal favorite at the moment and I’d rank it above Millions and Dior Savage in all metrics.
